After announcing One A9 smartphone back in November, HTC has officially launched it in India on Teusday. Priced at Rs 29,990, it will be available to purchase from Snapdeal starting December 15. Registrations for the first sale will open on Wednesday, Dec. 9th and will go live till next Monday.
The HTC One A9 will be the first hardware from the Tiawan-based manufacturer comes running Android 6.0 Marshamllow with HTC Sense UI skin on top. It is paired with 3GB of RAM, and the handset’s built-in storage will only 32GB variant. The company has its plans in bringing a 16GB variant and 2GB RAM memory very soon.
The One A9 is powered by an all-new 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-Core processor with 1.5GHz quad-core and 1.2GHz quad-core modules. The on-board storage is however be expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card slot. It features a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, the One A9 also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection.
Gets with it the 13-megapixel rear camera with sapphire cover lens, which it comes with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, BSI sensor, OIS (optical image stabilisation), support for 1080p video recording, and a LED flash and a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing fixed-focus sensor.
It supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. Other notable features include fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyro, and magnetic sensor and is backed by a 2150mAh battery.
The 7.2mm slim metal-clad smartphone which we aforementioned will go on sale in Carbon Grey and Pearl Silver colours in India.
