Huawei Honor Play 5X Launched With 3GB RAM, Fingerprint Sensor For US$ 220

Huawei has announced the Honor Play 5X in China as the company’s latest smartphone in the Honor Play series and after Nexus 6P globally. On October 10, the same Chinese manufacturer was expected to update its Honor line, but has announced Huawei Enjoy 5.

With the power of 4000mAh battery, Huawei Honor Play 5X has made its place in Chinese market. While iIt has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 72.5% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 skin on top.

Equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony or Samsung sensor, LED flash and it also houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. More over the smartphone unveiled today has unibody metal build and an impressive fingerprint scanner 2.09 on its back that can eventually unlock the phone in just under 0.5 seconds.

The Honor Play 5X also comes with a 3GB of RAM and available in coupled with 2GB of RAM memory. Both the versions have the same 16GB of internal storage and fixed with an expandable microSD card. The dual-SIM device perfectly fits for 4G LTE connectivity offering.

The smartphone comes in Silver and Sunset Gold colours. Price for the 3GB RAM variant has set for 1399 Yuan (US$ 220 / Rs. 14,320 approx.) For the 2 gigs RAM version at 999 Yuan (US$ 157 / Rs. 10,225 approx.). Shipping date is on November 3rd, Huawei Honor Play 5X is now available to order in China.
