Huawei has finally launched P9 Lite, the China-based company’s latest and third-iteration of its P9 series smartphone in China. Quietly unveiled a less expensive varaint of the already available to purchase high-end P9 and P9 Plus handsets. The new smartphone P9 Lite is in line with the leaked renders we already came across, which is all set to go on sale in select markets next month. Starting in Europe, Huawei P9 Lite will be retailed at a price for 299 Euros, when translated to Rs 22,400 in India.
Now, the Huawei P9 Lite is official! It comes with a similar design aesthetics of P9 and also boasts a metal body. Still got a fingerprint sensor at the back, but unfortunately it get the controversial Leica-certified dual-lens camera module.
Rest of the Huawei P9 Lite specs counts a 5.2-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display, is powered by Kirin 650 Octa-Core chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. It also offers a 16GB of internal storage and comes equipped with hybrid dual-SIM setup. In terms of it the secondary SIM card slot can be used as an expandable microSD card when required. Users can be able to expand up to 128GB.
The P9 Lite also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on its front for better captures. It packs a 3,000mAh battery and supports 4G LTE connectivity offering WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS etc while running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the sofware front.
