A new press render of the alleged Meizu MX5 Pro has been leaked into the wild online that showcasing the phone with metal-clad framing in grey color. As per the previous reports, the MX5 Pro is codenamed an NIUX and will be arriving in two variants. One with MediaTek MT6797 chipset and the second with Samsung Exynos 7420 SoC. Specs other than that on the purported phone include a 5.5-inch FullHD (1920x1080p) display, 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB or 64G of internal storage, 21MP main camera with 5MP front-facing Selfie shooter also doubted.
The Chinese manufacturer is expected an event scheduled on September 23rd, Tuesday. It’s said that it will be launching an sub-$500 category based smartphone at the time it debuts in China.
