Leaked Xiaomi Mi5 Photo Confirms Its Coming With 2.5D Glass, Fingerprint Sensor

Xiaomi’s next highly-anticipated flagship smartphone would be the Xiaomi Mi5, leaked several times and rumored in a variety of alleged images. Now that another rumor surfaced claiming that they got a photograph of the purported Mi5 smartphone, confirms that it will be sporting a 2.5D glass and the smallest and fastest fingerprint sensor.

Leaked image comes from the Chinese publication site, which indicates that the Mi5 will probably use a 2.5D curved glass display. The latest reveal also shows up the white color variant from top angle, with a Mi logo above the screen. While the fingerprint scanner equipped within the home button, also appears to have a 3.5mm audio headset jack on top-left corner and likely to port an IR Blaster on the top-right.

Alongside the hardware, showing off its crager – revealing that the Mi5 indeed supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Specifications also includes a charger with an input of 100-240V AC, output of 5V/2.5A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A, with a maximum power up of at 18W.

Other features include a 5.2-inch QHD screen with a pixel density of 565ppi. Under the hood, is powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset, paired with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of RAMK, and available in two different variants, one with 2GB RAM/32GB of built-in storage and 4 gigs of RAM with 64GB of internal storage.

Camera on the Xiaomi Mi5 is rumored to carry a 13MP selfie shooter and a 16MP rear sensor with some additional setup. It is backed up by a 3600mAh battery with faster charging tech, and it is of course a dual SIM smartphone supports 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11ad and NFC chip as connectivity options.

One thing is perfect that Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be launching Mi5 after China Spring Festival falls on February 8th, 2016. May be on February 20? One day before Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 goes official at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2016) keynote. Pricing should be around 3000 Yuan ($360).
