It’s insane as LeEco, formally known as LeTV – a China-based smartphone manufacturer has rapidly launched three new handsets, a trio of Le phones with larger screens, beefed processing power and accelerated network capabilities and of course advanced cameras. There’s something you all three should be missing is the 3.5mm audio headphone jack, which the USB Type-C port takes over.
Introduced LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro and the master of all these would be the Le Max 2 with a massive 6GB of RAM memory and the rest also stumbles upon. Specs and pricing details configured below with the release date as well.
LeEco Le 2
Starting with the Le 2. Detailing a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, it comes with 500nits brightness and carries 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and the IPS display it gets an 80-percent NTSC color gamut. The LeEco Le 2 is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and adds inside is a 32GB of eMMC5.1 storage capacity.
This runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LeTV’s EUI 5.8 skin on top, and supports 4G LTE on both the Dual SIM slots, offering WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz),Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type C alternatively. The most interesting in this new Le 2 smartphone could be the CDLA loss-less audio, Fingerprint reader, IR sensor and the Dolby Atmos audio technology.
On the photograpgy front, the new Le 2 comes equipped with 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF). For selfies, the smartphone is capable of shooting it using an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, holding f/2.2 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size, 76.5-degree wide-angle lens. Measuring in at 151.1 × 74.2 × 7.5mm, the gadget weighs 153 grams. With fast charging, the Le 2 battery comes with the package of 3000mAh.
The LeEco Le 2 is the cheapest of the three at CNY 1,100 ($170 / €150).
LeEco Le 2 Pro
Featuring a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, the LeEco Le 2 Pro is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 / X25 deca-core processor with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. Memory inside the phone, it has a 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and the same internal storage of Le 2 (32GB eMMC5.1). That also sports Android Marshmallow with EUI 5.8 skin out-of-the-box, but it is optimized with 21MP rear camera with dual-tone, LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens and an 8MP selfie shooter with 76.5-degree wide-angle lens. Rest of the specs are similar to what the Le 2 holds-on.
The LeEco Le 2 Pro will set you at 1399 yuan (US$ 216/€205) for the Helio X20 version, 1499 yuan (US$ 230) Helio X25 version.
LeEco Le Max 2
This is a bigger variant of all the announced LeEco smartphone today. With 5.7-inch Quad HD display, the Max 2 jumped the vehicle to 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution screen and has 96% NTFC color gamut and shows up 450nits brightness. The processor is also 2.15GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit with Adreno 530 GPU. Most interestingly it is available to purchase in two different storage and memory options; 4G LPDDR4 RAM/32GB UFS 2.0 internal storage and another comes with the 4GB/6GB DDR4 RAM, 64GB (UFS 2.0) storage capacity.
The Le Max 2 sports a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF, OIS, 6P lens, F/2.0 aperture and a 8MP front. It measures in at 156.8 × 77.6 × 7.99mm and weighs at 185 grams. It supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type C and is backed by a 3,100mAh battery with Quaick Charge 3.0.
The LeEco Le Max 2 is priced at CNY 2,100 ($325/€285), for the 3GB/32GB version and here’s how much it costs CNY 2,500 ($385/€340) for the 6GB/64GB model.
