LG is all set to introduce its 2016 flagship G5 in Barcelona this Sunnday during the annual Mobile Word Congress expo, but pre-release model of the hardware appears to have shown up on a Duabai website, selling G5 as used items. The device spotted on the site carries a G5 logo emblazoned on the backplate, was seeling it for 2,500 dihrams, trnsaltes to about US$ 680, on a site called Bubizzle, where Samsung Galaxy S7 edge packaging was revealed and confirmed microUSB port as well.
Yet unannounced G5’s photos uploaded to Dubizzle corraborate rumors that the LG’s flagship will shed the G4’s plastic body for an all-metal one and what to say more about the leaked picture. Shows off LG G5’s dual-camera setup on the back, and other than that, it includes a unique accessory slot, perhaps for user-replaceable batteries, and an always-on display similar to the active notification system vs Motorola’s Moto X mobiles.
The G5 device expected with all-metal chassis, boasting a dual-camera with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and also considering that from LG’s tradition of using rear volume and power buttons departs in favor of the more traditional side edge-mounted setup.
Leak shows the device in great deatil and we can see the gallery below, the camera housing protrudes slightly from the body of the phone. Two camera lenses seperated inside the pill-shaped glass panel of what it seems like a dual-tone LED flash and lesser-sensor for autofocus.
As per the listing, the seller claims that this is a unit with a valid IMEI in “brand new” condition, in original packaging.
LG have on hold a press conferences scheduled for February 21st, when Samsung will be showing off the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. With the G5 being the first, LG to change the strategy and this year to go head-to-head with rival Samsung at MWC. So expect a more heated Andoid showdown in Barcelona, Spain.
