Here’s what the newly launched Meizu m2 smartphone in India brought with it to compete with the already famous 4G budget friendly mobile phones in that segment. The m2 is the successor to the Meizu m1, and was actually announced back in July.
Finally today, the Meizu m2 hits the retail stores in the country and available exclusively through Snapdeal. Registrations for the first flash sale has been started and will close at 4pm on October 11th, and the device will be available from Oct. 12th, which is next Monday.

The successor, Meizu m2 packs 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with 1000:1 contrast ratio, AGC Dragontrail glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and includes 16GB eMMC 5.0 storage from Samsung of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card support up to 128GB.
The Meizu m2 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom FlyMe 4.5 OS on top, and that too has a Hybrid Dual SIM, where the second SIM can be used like a SD card, and it supports 4G LTE FDD 1800 MHz and TDD 2300 MHz 4G LTE bands for India.
The new smartphone has polycarbonate unibody design and weighs 131 grams. While speaking about the Meizu m2 camera, it has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5p lens, Gorilla Glass 3 protective lens glass and a 5MP ront-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 4p lens.
