Moto X Play With 21-Megapixel Camera, 4G LTE, 64-Bit Octa-Core Debuts For Rs 18499

Motorola has launched Moto X Play smartphone in India at a price of Rs 18,499, which makes it one of the cheapest 16GB phones ever came with 21-megapixel camera sensor. For 32GG Moto X Play, consumer have to pay around Rs 19,999 respectively.

Goes on sale through Flipkart starting this midnight and Moto X Play is one of those smartphones backed with a battery package that promises 30 hours of life. Motorola will sell the Turbo charger for the X Play separately.

Specs-wise, as you already know by now that the Moto X Play features a 5.5-inch FullHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection at 403 ppi. It is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 ( 4 x 1.1 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.7 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU, paired with 2GB of RAM, supports expandable microSD card up to 128GB, runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity options and it packs a massive 3630mAh battery.

Main key features on the Motorola Moto X Play include a 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, F/2.0 aperture, and 1080p video recording and a 5MP selfie shooter on the board. Available in Black and White color options.

When asked about the new Android 6,0 Marshmallow, Motorola’s director product management Carl Steen said they are still waiting for the code from Google. “However, we will be first to roll out Android M whenever next version comes, possibly by Q1 2016,” Steen said.
