For the first time ever Motorola is bringing a fingerprint sensor into its Moto G series, if these leaked reports are to be believed. The successor to Moto G (3rd-Gen) is apparently coming and will add Touch ID authentication inside the home button. With the said, the alleged Moto G4 Plus – only shows the bottom portion of the front panel, revealing a physical button.
The Moto G4 Plus could join the Moto X3 range of Motorola’s 2016 smartphones lineup, where, both are expected to hold fingerprint sensors. A fresh look however suggests that’s exactly what the Lenovo-owned company has been planning. The Moto X3, a 5-inch display was originally spotted in an online shipping database, on India’s import-export website Zauba. now that another device is breaking the covers off, with a leaked image of what purportedly called the “Moto G4 Plus”.
This leak comes from a reliable tipster Evan Blass, and he reveals what looks like the bottom of the phone’s front-panel. Claiming that’s the new addition of Moto series, and probably safe to assume there’s a fingerprint sensor embedded as well. Question here still left behind is what the ‘Plus’ reads in the Moto G4 Plus. Could be indicating it has a larger display, or it is coming beefed with top-end specs, and having released with a budget-friendly price-tag.

The new design also suggests that Motorola is skewing away from its 2015 design. The Moto G4 Plus might offer a front-facing speaker below the screen, but doesn’t seem to be the case with this new hardware. While the leaked image shows a similar design as the Moto X Style and also includes a similar front-facing flash.
