Nokia D1C Smartphone With Android Nougat, 3GB RAM Spotted On Benchmarks website


Nokia is coming back again with another hardware launch very soon, as it has announced long back in August. Now, Nokia D1C Android phone has been spotted on Geekbench listing, revealing its specifications and feature additions into the wild.

According to the benchmarks listing, the said device from Nokia will run the latest Google’s mobile operating system Android 7.0 Nougat. Under-the-hood, it is also suggest to be powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. Also appears that the smartphone to come with 3GB of RAM, and about the camera sensor on the back and the front selfie pixels hasn’t been surfaced as yet.

In the past, the Symbian company Nokia has provided a variety of smartphones from featured to high-end and later acquired by Microsoft, and a year back introduced an Android-powered smartphone, the Nokia N1 and this time around, also planning to introduce another smartphone based on the latest Android version. Although a report cited a Nokia executive to claim the company would launch four Nokia/Android based devices in the fourth quarter of 2016. Other listings on the benchmarking app shows up single-core results ranging from 656-682 and multi-core results falling between 2,745 and 3,229. However, the information on the device is still limited.

It seems Nokia will be aiming at making a bigger splash with its upcoming smartphones and although launched Z Launcher for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and above. Let us see whether, with D1C, Nokia might launch at least three new smartphones by the end of the year 2016 with no more information given the Finnish to hold the launch event.
