Redmi 3: Xiaomi’s Next Device Codenamed Kenzo Gets Benchmarked

Xiaomi is although planning for a new flagship launch in upcoming days and recently, the Mi5 renders points the imminent date, but what’s this we are looking at is what so-called the unexpected device from the Chinese manufacturer surfaced on Geekbench. It seems that Xiaomi Redmi 3 on its way around the horizon, just visited benchmarking site. The device codenamed Xiaomi Kenzo – appeared on the benchmark revealing its specifications and design artchitecture.

It looks like this Xiaomi device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset. Based on the motherboard name being MSM8952 – model designation. The SoC however in question features a 1.5GHz Octa-Core Cortex-A53 CPU, while the device that ran Geekbenck only had six cores active and they were crapped at 1.4 GHz. Spotted is that the leaked phone sports a 2GB RAM and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Listing on benchmark, unfortunately doesn’t show up any other information regarding its screen size.

No other information available right now or leaked about the Kenzo. But it stands to reason that this could be the Redmi 3. The chipset and RAM amount used fit a mid-range offering, and the Redmi Note 3 in line has been recently updated. The Kenzo has scored 1420 in single core and 3420 in multi core tests, and according tothat it seems that the phone will be a budget-friendly hardware.
