Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Official Specs: Snapdragon 653, 6GB RAM, 16MP Front/Back Cameras And More

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has been made official in China, the South Korean company’s latest smartphone in ‘C’ series now been available for order in the country. Here is everything you need to know about the newly launched mobile.


Announced the Pro version of Galaxy C9 in China, as Samsung has also revealed its key features. It has aerospace-grade aluminum unibody design, integrated with dual speaker setup; one in the earpiece and the other on the bottom. It also gets an all-new antenna design, fingerprint reader embedded into the Home button on the front.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Specifications

The smartphone features a 6-inch full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel screen resolution. Under the hood, the Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 653 (clocked at Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs) processor with Adreno 510 GPU.

With a mammoth sized 6GB of RAM, the Galaxy C9 Pro also received an upgrade with a 64GB of on-board storage and further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The new handset runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.


While the Galaxy C9 Pro’s rear camera of 16-megapixel with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, as well as the front also has 16MP camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture. Of course, the Galaxy C9 Pro is a dual SIM smartphone carries (nano + nano) and supports connectivity option such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v 4.2, ANT+, USB-Type-C, NFC. The smartphone packs a 4000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.


Available for pre-order in China, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will go on sale from November 11th, comes in Gold and Rose Gold colors. Priced at 3199 Yuan ($470) and if launched in India it costs Rs. 31670 respectively.
