Samsung Galaxy C9 Specs Appears On GeekBench, Confirms Snapdragon 652 SoC, 6GB RAM And More


Samsung Galaxy C9 has apparently been spotted on AnTuTu earlier last month, just before revealing its features and specifications on today’s listing on Geekbench benchmarking site.

The South Korean company has already introduced two new smartphones, the Galaxy C5 and the Galaxy C7 from its new ‘C’ series arena in China back in May. Now the Galaxy C9 with model number “SM-C9000” has surfaced in the benchmarking website, showing off its 6GB of RAM, processing unit with Snapdragon 652 Octa-Core SoC and on the software front it confirmed to be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Taking from the past leaks, the Galaxy C9 listing although said to be coming with a 64GB of internal storage, 16MP rear and the same front-facing camera sensor. Now appeared on Geekbench, revealing some of its key features as well. According to the Geekbench listing single-core score for the galaxy C9 shows as 1304 and the multi-core score is 4366. This could be the first and foremost mid-ranger from Samsung with 6 gigs of RAM, while the top-end Galaxy ‘A’ series smartphone, the Galaxy A9 Pro packs only 4GB of RAM.

Also expected that this Galaxy C9 to pack a full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display, available in 32GB/64GB storage variants, hybrid dual-SIM card slot and a fingerprint sensor on the Home button, as how both the Galaxy C5 and C7 are honored.

The damn phone has been spotted on India’s import/export tracking website Zauba, revealing its 5.7-inch display on one occasion, and the screen-size of 6″ on the other. With the larger screen the phone Galaxy C9 is also said to pack a huge battery with support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 capabilities.

The unannounced Samsung Galaxy C9 handset will be launched in the in Oct-Nov time frame in China. As we get any more information we’ll let you know about the smartphone in the coming weeks.
