Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 Android Flip Phone With Snapdragon 425 Appears In Benchmarks Test Results

It’s a clam-shell phone which Samsung introduced the Galaxy Folder back in 2013. An upgraded model of a new Galaxy Folder Android flip phone was released last year in Korea and today what appears is its refreshed successor is upcoming. The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 (SM-G1600) has been spotted on GFXBench benchmark listing that reveals almost all of its specifications.

The same flip-phone Galaxy Folder 2 was also discovered on zauba import test listing earlier this year as well. And the rumored key features includes:

  • 3.8-inch (480 x 800 pixels) WVGA display
  • 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU
  • 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, expandable memory with microSD
  • Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS
  • 8MP rear camera with LED Flash
  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS

About the Galaxy Folder smartphone in Korea. It will be available to purchase in Black and White colors for 297,000 Korean Won (US$ 253 / rS. 17,209 approx.). Now that the Samsung’s Galaxy Folder 2 is expected to go official for Korean markets in upcoming weeks and would be cheaper than its predecessor.
