It finally happened, the Galaxy J3 smartphone from Samsung appeared at the FCC 3G certifications and passed through TENAA earlier. The Samsung Galaxy J3 has officially listed on the company’s China website, and to confuse you in a different name – Galaxy J3⑥.
The handset is now official but it’s lower end hardware sheet won’t excite the specs heads, nevertheless prove a reasonable buy for the wider public. The model is specifically meant for China Telecom variant, and the comparison reveals that its design and specifications are largely similar to that of the J3 model (SM-J3109) cleared by the FCC.
It is equipped with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, good for a pixel density of 294 ppi. Under the heart of the Samsung’s new arrival, features a quad core chipset with a clock speed of 1.2GHz CPU. It comes with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory with microSD card slot, and packs in a 2600mAh battery. In terms of camera, the handset features an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. It weighs 138g and measures 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm.
The device also features Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and Samsung’s TouchWiz UX. On the software side, the device comes with Milk Music app, and a Smart Manager tool that provides features including virus scanning and battery monitoring. It has 4G LTE connectivity with support for FDD LTE Bands – B1, B3, B7 and TDD LTE band B41 for China. Expected to go on sale in dual SIM variant, but it depends on the market.
