Samsung Galaxy On8 With 5.5-Inch Super AMOLED Display, 3GB RAM, 4G LTE Announced For Rs.15900

It’s official, Samsung has launched Galaxy On8, the company’s latest smartphone in ‘On’ series in India as expected and leaked prior to the unveil. Samsung has really but lately started working hardly on expanding and updating its products lineup, and already kept on the horizon the Galaxy C9 and now a brand new release within the On line has gone live. Announced On8 smartphone in India today, it comes at a quite dynamic time for the budget series. With Galaxy On7 (2016) now officially available alongside the On5 (2016) coming shortly, will definitely see the hype for purchasing Galaxy On8.

Specifications-wise, the Galaxy On8 features a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display – jumps over the LCD variety on its siblings. This news falls in perfectly with the teaser appeared recently on Flipkart post and is great news for Samsung AMOLED fans as well. Powering the device with an Exynos 7580 Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy On8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Samsung’s own UI on top.

On the camera front, there’s a 13-megapixel rear-facing with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash all the go. It has a brushed metal frame and measure in at 7.8mm thick and also embedded with a dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE connectivity options by packing a 3300mAh battery.

Currently the Galaxy On8 appears to be an India exclusive, set to go on sale via Flipkart starting from October 2nd, just before the “Big Billion Day Sale” begins. By the way, the Galaxy On8 also features two “Make for India” initiatives – UDS (ultra data saving) and S-Bike.

It will be coming in Black, Gold and White colors and is priced at Rs. 15,900 ($240) respectively directly through flash sales on Flipkart.
