Samsung Galaxy S7 To Be Released In Two Different 5.2 / 5.5-inch Screen Sizes

The paper said that Samsung is planning to launch two different versions of its new flagship smartphone. One of which will sport a 5.2-inch flat-screen, and the second version of Galaxy S7 will have a 5.5-inch curved-screen and will be called the ‘Galaxy S7 Edge’. The report says the Galaxy S7, which is being developed internally at Samsung as a project called “HERO,” comes in two different shapes and screen sizes. The “HERO1” phone in development features a 5.2-inch display, while “HERO2” features a 5.5-inch display.

Speculations on its way about the screen-sizes and about Samsung working on Galaxy S7 Plus, S7 Edge and S7 Edge+, which was suggested that Samsung is taking a cue from Apple as last year the Cupertino-based firm launched 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. Nothing is final at the far moment though. But Samsung plans to initially make 3.3 million of the flat-screen Galaxy S7 devices and around 1.6 million of curved-screen S7 versions. The release date for both the variants is set for early-February 2016.
