Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Early Review Image
Just last week the popular tipster @evleaks suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active could be codenamed Poseidon, and it’s not for the first time leaked into the wild. But this time around, the Active version of Galaxy S7 was positioned as rugged and purely protected by water and dust resistance aesthetics.

Those familar with the Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, got IP68 certificate, means both the new devices are waterproof that allows submersion into water upto 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. What would be the biggest plans Samsung has for the new Galaxy S7 Active is unknown at the far moment.

If these reports are to be believed, Samsung could add a military-grade protection (MIL-STD-810G) from liquids, materials and drops support to the yet-unannounced Galaxy S7 Active phone. Not so new when compared to the Galaxy S6 Active vs Galaxy S7 could stay under water for 30 meters unfaded and deal betterly with dust, extreme temperature, humidity, and high altitude.
