As expected, Sony has officially announced Xperia C5 Ultra smartphone with all the high-end specifications and affordable price limit, but didn’t unveild any Gold variant of the handset. Though it got a pretty unique design and when we talk about it, is a 6-inch 1080p screened smartphone with just 0.8mm slim bezels (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 1.7GHz processor with 700 MHz Mali 760 MP2 GPU and by the way it runs on Android Lollipop.
The Xperia C5 Ultra has a genuine photography aspect as it comes with a 13-Megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, LED flash, 25mm wide-angle lens with 80-degree field of view, 1080p video recording and the same 13MP on its front-facing as well with Exmor RS sensor and Selfie flash, 22 mm wide-angle lens with 88-degree field of view.
Connectivity options include Dual SIM (only on C5 Ultra Dual), but supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC. It packs a 2930mAh battery with STAMINA mode. Paired with a 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage which can further expandable up to 200GB via microSD card support.
Available to buy in black, white and a glossy soft mint color. Goes on sale in selected countries across emerging markets from mid-August. Pricing for the Xperia C5 Ultra and C5 Ultra Dual, Sony hasn’t reveal anything as yet.
