Sony Xperia Z6 Lite 2016 Flagship With Snapdragon 652 Hexa-Core SoC, Metal Frame Tipped

2015 calendar year comnes to an end and big phone manufacturers are getting ready of their new hardware, which includes Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, and many OEMs to join the party of 2016 with the introduction of their design gadgets. In particular, Sony Mobiles is rumored to be working on a range of Xperia Z5 successors, and said that the Xperia Z6 Lite to join other five Xperia Z6 smartphone versions by the first half of 2016.

Rumors of a 2016 Xperia Z6 lineup have been flying all over the pace, but with questions on how and which processor it gonna use. Leaks hinted at a total of 5 models, and the smartphone Z6 is expected to be powered by an Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor (SD618 previously) and being its a Lite version, could pack a 5-iunch display with 2.5D curved glass and a metal unibody. Models also includes a 4-inch Z6 Mini, 4.6-inch Xperia Z6 Compact, 5.2-inch Z6, 5.8-inch Xperia Z6 Plus and finally the bigger and tallest phablet with 6.4-inch Xperia Z6 Ultra.

News comes out through a laked T-Mobile roadmap later omitted any mention of a Xperia Z6 Mini, dropping the number of devices down to four. Two of which are power packed by Snapdragon 820 chipsets and the other runs SD652 SoC. Now that a new Chinese source simply added another twist to the unknown with talk of a Z6 Lite.

The Sony’s 2016 Xperia device is said to come with a 5-inch display that too a fullHD 1080p screen, placing it right between the Z6 Compact and basic Z6. This website also suggests that said handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chip, speculated to cost around 2,500 yuan ($385), along with a May 2016 release frame.

Although Sony has announced to be at press conference of CES 2016, but we can’t expect anything from the Japanese firm, nevertheless can argue to get a new smartphone announcement at MWC 2016 in February.
