Two new high-end Vivo flagship smartphones announced at an event in China. Called Vivo X6 and X6Plus brings with it best user experience and performance enhancements which carry an enterprise and business editions-like features and more comfortable user interface in an all-metal unibody design.

Features and Specs
Starting with Vivo X6 – has a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display at a screen resolution of 1920x1080p with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 processor with 700 MHz Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. Paired with 4 gigs of RAM memory, 32GB of internal storage, further expandable via microSD card slot.
It has a Hybrid Dual SIM slot, where you can use the second one as a SD card and on the software front, X6 runs on Funtouch OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Connectivity supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. Photography wise, the X6 sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF technology and has fixed with f/2.2 aperture, and you will find an 8-megapixel selfie-centric sensor. The whole hardware is backed by the power of 2400mAh battery with fast charging tech.
Audio enhancements found on X6 with AKM4375 chip and YAMAHA YSS-205X digital surround signal processing chip for an enhanced audio performance. Fingerprint sensor on the back can unlock the phone in just 0.4 seconds using its 360-degree sensor.
The Vivo X6Plus is somewhat a larger variant of its smaller version of X6. Comes with a 5.7-inch FHD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass edge. Powered by the same CPU as its predecessor and its is packing a 4GB of RAM and available to buy in 64GB of storage and supports microSD card. The only difference between the two is that the X6Plus packs a 3000mAh battery with fast charging and has ES9028 DAC chip. Rest of the specifications are similar.
Price and Availability
Both the Vivo phones comes in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold colours. The X6 China Unicom version is priced at 2498 yuan (US$390), standard network version costs 2598 yuan (US$ 406) and will go on sale starting December 7th.
The Vivo X6Plus China Unicom variant is priced at 3198 yuan (US$ 500). You can pre-order it from December 15th in China, will be on sale from 21st this month.
