vivo XPlay 5 With 6-Inch QHD Dual-Edge Curved Display, SD820 SoC, 6GB of RAM Launch Date Set For March 1st

The Chinese manufacturer vivo although confirms the upcoming XPlay 5 mobile will have a whooping 6GB of RAM , making it the world’s first smartphne to come with that much memory. Teaser also revealed that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC. Details for the hardware can be found right after this jump.

The vivo XPlay 5 will be made officially go on sale this upcoming March 1, 2016. Plus, it will be also be coming with a dual-curved display. As per the leaked renders of the device gives us what could be the first look of the phone. It is something like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with two curved-screens on-board. The campaign also reveals XPlay 5 key specs and features. The latest teaser from the company shows up the device will be equipped with Hi-Fi 3.0 audio.

The Chinese smartphone maker vivo’s XPlay 5 flagship will be sporting with an 6-inch QHD display, packs 16MP rear and 8MP front camera setup. While the battery on the XPlay 5 you can expect a 4300mAh battery with Quick Charging capabilities.


It was thought that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 6 is coming with a 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, but given the fact that it is the XPlay 5 from vivo, now.
