Xiaomi has altough sent out press invites for an event next week, and according to the teaser image we can no doubt witness the launch of Mi5. Because, its accompanying the invite suggesting that a new product introduction is imminent on October 19, next Monday, but there’s not much known about it at the moment.
The Xiaomi’s scheduled invite only hints at several new products and could be the well rumored Mi 5 or Mi 5 Plus or even an Mi Pad 2. Previously leaked reports have claimed that the alleged Mi5 device would be launched either in November or December, and an October debut cannot be completely ruled out, either.
Possibility still resides that the second-generation Mi Pad may be unveild at the event, because the successor was recently spotted on China’s 3C Certification Center site.
Might be the Xiaomi Mi5 – purported to bring with it a 5.2-inch QHD screen with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection, MediaTek Helio X20 / Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 16MP rear and 13MP front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery with quick charging technology.
In a similar fasion the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus also alleged to be a phablet device with 5.7-inch Quad HD display with Gorilla Glass 4, X20 MediaTek Helio or S810 processor, 4 gigs of memory, 64GB of on-board storage, 23MP camera on its back and a 13-megapixel selfie shooter and is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with the similar quick charging tech.
Anything can happen on October 19th Xiaomi Mi launch event. Stay tuned for the official announcement on the upcoming products.
