Xiaomi Redmi 3S+ With Fingerprint Sensor, 4G VoLTE Launched For Rs.9499


Xiaomi has launched Redmi 3S+, Chinese company’s latest version of Redmi 3S which is said to be available for purchase offline. Here is everything you need to know about the new Redmi 3S+.

Features and Specifications

First to talk about the screen-size, which the Redmi 3S+ flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280×720) pixels IPS display. Under-the-hood, the Redmi 3S+ is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC (4x 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 + 4x 1.5GHz Cortex-A53) 64-bit processor, paired by Adreno 505 GPU for better graphics and gestures.

While the Redmi 3S has a 3GB of RAM, but the new variant of it, the Redmi 3S+ only offering 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB using microSD card slot. The smartphone runs MIUI 8-based on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system. On the other hand, the Redmi 3S+ also carries an Hybrid Dual SIM slot, where you can use another SIM or SD card for extra storage space.

Photography on Redmi 3S+ will be impressive, as it sports 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and for selfies, has 5MP front-facing f/2.2 aperture sensor and also capable to record Full HD 1080p videos. Expected to see a Fingerprint sensor (Redmi 3S Prime) on its back and is packed with 4100mAh (typical) battery and 4000mAh unit and embedded with Infrared sensor as well.

It comes in Dark Grey, Silver and Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 9,499 respectively. In India, the Redmi 3S Prime with more RAM memory goes on offline sale across over 7,500 retail stores from October 1st. Followed by other large format retailer such as Sangeetha, Poorvika, BIG C, and LOT mobiles via Xiaomi Distributors РRadington, Innocomm and Just Buy Live and will be manufactured under company’s Make In India initiative.
