The successor to Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi is what looking forward to be launched the Redmi Note 4 in India next month in 2017. The 2016 year has been quite a year for Xiaomi as the company has not only tasted the success with the debut of smartphones like Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3S and the Redmi 3S Prime. Also in its home ground China, the company has introduced the world’s first bezel-less smartphone in the form of Mi MIX alongside the highly-anticipated Mi Note 2.
Now that the Chinese company is planning to introduce its next generation smartphones at the CES 2017. Well, the company hasn’t forgotten the Indian market as the latest rumors suggest that Xiaomi will be launching Redmi Note 4 in the country as soon as possible in the early January month next year.
The Redmi Note 4 has been launched in China in August 2016. The design would look very similar to what the Redmi Note 3 carries, but the subtle tweaks like 2.5D curved glass on top makes the Note 4 differ. Xiaomi is still holding on to its unibody metal design but has added the Mi5-like chamfered edges to the Redmi Note 4 this time. The overall looks pretty same with the camera lens, LED flash and the iconic circular fingerprint scanner embedded at the back panel.

As the features are concerned, the Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch phablet size fullHD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels garnered with 2.5D curved glass. The Redmi Note 4 is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor, likely to launch a Qualcomm variant in India, considering the ongoing legal issues with Ericsson that bars the company from launching MediaTek phones in the country. As per records, Xiaomi might launch Redmi Note 4 with Snapdragon 625 SoC in India, which can be expected to be available in 2GB, 3GB or 4GB RAM options.
Photography front, the 13-megapixel rear camera of the Redmi Note 4 supports LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF sensor. There’s a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens for better selfies. When compared to Redmi Note 3 that came with a 16MP primary camera. The smartphone in Redmi Note 4 is armed with a 4100mAh battery that Xiaomi claims is good enough for a day on a single charge.
Connectivity options to include a dual SIM Hybrid card slot, 4G LTE with Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) support, offers WiFi and Bluetooth. On software front, the Redmi Note 4 will run on MIUI 8-based on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Rumored Price
Details regarding the speculations, the smartphone will be available in two variants – one with 16GB storage and 2GB RAM, and 64GB memory and 3GB of RAM. While the bast model is priced at 899 Yuan (Rs 9,000 approximately) while the 64GB variant is priced at 1,199 Yuan, which is Rs 12,000 respectively.
