According to the new report the forthcoming and alleged Xiaomi Mi4c is now confirmed to be announced later this month, on September 24, 2015.
As per the Weibo post, the Xiaomi Mi 4c will go on sale for the first time on October 3, following the unveiling of it on 24th of September. Interesting point to be noted and that is, another speculation claims that the Chinese Xiaomi manufacturer will be offering two Mi 4c variants, one with 16GB of on-board storage and 2GB of RAM, and the other 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in space.
Spotted on China’s regulatory authority TENAA in the past, while the rumored specs confirmed the Xiaomi Mi 4c to feature high-end keys. It also sports with a 5-inch FHD (1080p) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa-Core (1.4GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core + 1.8GHz Cortex-A57 dual-core) processor, 13MP primary camera and 5MP Selfie shooter, USB Type-C connectivity port and is backed by 3080mAh battery package. Of course on the software front, it is the first smartphone from Xiaomi to run on MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The yet-unannounced Xiaomi Mi 4c made its appearance on an e-commerce website, Oppomart, which apparently relvealed its pricing as well. Like the 16GB, 2GB RAM Mi 4c variant listed with a price tag of $229, which transaltes to an approximate cost in India of Rs 15,260.
Take the oft-mentioned article and its post with a grain of salt ans nothing is officially confirmed by the Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi.
