Newly launched Era X is not the first Xolo mobiles coming into the market as dudget 4G smartphone, before it the company introduced Era 4K and Era 4G in the Era series of its range. What makes sense is that everytime Xolo launches a new smartphone it is decreasing the price-tag for each, as the 4K went on sale at Rs 6499, and the next one to talk about is the Era 4G gone for Rs 4777 and today’s gadget comes at a similar tag of Rs 5777.
The device is said to be packing a mid-range specifications like it holds a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display and protected with Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor with 512MHz Mali 400MP2 GPU, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB of internal storage and supports expandable 32GB micr-SD card.
On software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, but upgradable up to 6.0 Marshmallow in the future. The Dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS connectivit options. It packs a 2500mAh battery, while the camera you can find an 8MP rear auto-focus with LED flash and a 5MP on its front that too equipped with LED flash.
