Micromax Yu’s YUTOPIA With 4GB RAM, QHD Display, Snapdragon 810 SoC Launching In October

Is Yu YUTOPIA the official name of the upcoming smartphone of Micromax Televentures Yu? The answer will be reportedly, and with a retail box posted by BGR India and here’s what the box speaks “The Most Powerful Phone Ever” launching next month in India, just in time of Diwali in November.

Most interesting point to be noted is that this new Yu YUTOPIA will be made in India and likely to go on sale in November, but the unveil date is almost set for next month, October 2015. The YU 5050 aka Yutopia was actually leaked via benchmark results earlier this month ahead of Yu Yunique launch. YU Founder, Rahul Sharma has tweeted about the phone last week, calling it a real beast.

Although it has been leaked with alleged specifications, as YU5050 will be a high-end smartphone which will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Screen size indicated to have of 5.2-inch Quad-HD display, 21-megapixel rear and 8MP front-facing camera. It look like it will be available in two variants, one of which Yu YUTOPIA with 3GB of RAM along with 1080p FullHD display, and another one with 4 gigs of RAM memory with 2K reslution.

The YU YUTOPIA (YU5050) is expected to come with a metal body and already imported into India earlier this month for testing purposes, where it showed an import price tag of Rs 20,295, and which may retail at under Rs 25,000 once launched.
