ZTE has launched Blade S6 smartphone, the company’s latest smartphone in Blade series at an event in Hong Kong. Available to buy starting February 10, worldwide and through online retailer via AliExpress, and Amazon or eBay in select markets like in India. Priced at Rs. 15,300, respectively and will be shipped to India via AliExpress if you order there.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop powered Blade S6 comes with ZTE‘s MiFavor 3.0 UI on top. It is powered by an octaocore Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and will be the world’s first Qualcomm OctaCore smartphone running Lollipop OS on it, as touted by the Chinese handset maker, ZTE.
It has a dual-SIM (supports Nano-SIM) on its Blade S6, features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with In-Cell technology. Packs a 16GB of internal storage which can further expandable via microSD card slot.
Interesting in the ZTE Blade S6 smartphone would be the Hi-Fi sound capability as it can also be called as a Music boomer. Highlights on the Blade S6 would be it icludes ZTE’s AliveShare application for network-less communication and Smart Sense gesture motion control.
Camera wise, the Blade S6 goes with a 13 MP autofocus rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash. Houses a 5-megapixe front-facing snapper and the smartphone is backed up by a 2400mAh battery.
Connectivity front, it includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and 4G LTE. ZTE Blade S6 packs proximity, ambient light, accelerometer, compass, and gyroscope sensors. The smartphone is surrounded by a two-millimetre-thin casing, and comes in a silver or pink matte finish options.
