Moto G5 Certified In The US, Gets 3000mAh Battery Package And More

Rumors about the highly-anticipated Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus has been doing rounds on the internet web in recent times. Now the Moto G5 smartphone said to have been certified in the United States (US), spotted at Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The listing suggests the device will feature a 3000mAh battery unit and gets support for Turbo charging as well. Also appears that the unannounced phone will also come with a fast charging capability that give an output of 14.4W at either 9V/1.6A or 12V/1.2A, and at 5V/1.6A. The patent filing furthermore shares Moto G5 phone will also be bringing support for NFC, tipped to have a DTV dongle, which can relatively be used as a TV tuner.

Specifications for the upcoming Moto G is expected to add a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display, 16GB ROM, 13MP rear camera and 5MP selfie shooter on the front. No word on which processor will power the G5’s SoC.

There’s still another variant of Moto Z (2017) scheduled to launch on February 26th as Motorola planned at 4:30 PM CET (9:00 PM IST) at this years Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona.
