The Moto Z2 Force with dual rear camera setup has first been surfaced online back in May, as the successor to Moto Z Force. We have already mentioned about the Moto G5S Plus specs spotted on the Bluetooth Certification website, followed by another leak now. Here are the details you need to know.
In terms of specifications for the Moto Z2 Force, we have found ourselves lucky enough, as the phone appeared in Motorola‘s roadmap 2017, it revealed 1Gbps LTE support and ShatterShield, shatterproof display. Spotted Moto Z2 Force with the model number Moto XT1789-05, giving an idea on its authentic design, which is very similar to the Z Force, but the only upgrade Z2 Force will get is the battery capacity, unknown at the moment.
Newly leaked images have revealed the unibody metal design of the Moto Z2 Force, pins for Moto Mod connector on the rear facing, similar to last year’s Z phones and a dual rear camera sensor along with dual-tone LED flash for both front and rear cameras.
However, the Moto Z2 Play has already been made official, the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force are yet to be unveiled. Motorola has sent out invites for a #HelloMotoWorld even on July 25, and the two phones are largely expected to be announced.
Now that the Chinese Moto site briefly confirms the launch of the Moto Z2 at the event, while the Z2 Force has been separately spotted on AnTuTu benchmark listing, along with its specifications and much more, like tipping an imminent launch as well.
Prior to the official unveiling, the website of Moto in China briefly posted an image suggesting that of Moto Z2 smartphone, revealing design details and confirming the arrival of the smartphone. According to it, the Moto Z2 launch on July 25 is set. The smartphone has a lot of resemblance to the Z2 Play, apart from few tweaks. On the website, it is seen sporting three color variants – Grey, Silver, and Black – those seen support for new Moto Mods launched recently like the 360 Degree Camera Mod.
As for specs, the Moto Z smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch (1440×2560 pixels) QHD AMOLED display, tipped to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Also expected to come running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box, while past GeekBench 4 scores of Moto Z2 were also reportedly claimed at par with the Samsung Galaxy S8.
A Home button with fingerprint scanner embedded at the front of the smartphone. Notably, Moto Z2 seems to share some of its design elements with the Moto Z2 Play smartphone, like the front flash and oval Home button. The Moto Z2 Force is expected to get the power of Qualcomm SD835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The resolution of the screen is of QHD’s 2560-by-1440 pixels, and the built-in storaghe is expected to be of 128GB. The rear camera is seen sporting a 12-megapixel sensor while the up front camera is tipped to sport a 5MP shooter.
Previous rumors and leaks all but suggested that the Moto Z2 Force will sport a dual camera system and a dual tone LED flash at the back, which is already confirmed by another leak suggestion.
