Motorola Moto G5 Plus To Be Flipkart Exclusive In India At Launch

Moto India although confirmed last month that the Motorola Moto G5 Plus smartphone will be launching in India on March 15th. Now, it has been said that the smartphone will be available as Flipkart exclusive at launch.

To remind, last year’s Moto G4 and G4 Plus were exclusively sold by, but this year it has changed the format, as given the chance to Flipkart to retail Moto G5 Plus in India online.

Specifications-wise, the Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920×1080) display, is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 GPU, comes in three different variants, one with 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and the higher-end model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and the top-end with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, that too with a dedicated microSD card slot – expandable up to 128GB.

On Software front, the Moto G5 Plus runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, which has a water repellent nano-coating, Fingerprint scanner and pased with front-ported loudspeaker grills. The photography department on the G5 Plus, you will get a 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Dual-Pixel Auto Focus, Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture and support for 4K video recording. For selfies, there’s still a 5MP front-facing OmniVision OV5695 camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture and more.

Other specs includes 4G VoLTE connectivity features alongside the usual WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, etc. It packs a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging capabilities.

Finally, the Moto G5 Plus will be offered in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors. No details on Moto G5 Plus’ India pricing has been listed and also which memory configurations will be go on sale in the country. Tipped, the phone starts at $229 for the 2 GB + 32 GB variant and goes up to $295 for the 3GB + 32 GB model.
