The already alleged 12.9-inch iPad Pro is expected to make its debut after mid-November as overseas manufacturer Foxconn preparing to start supplying its components for the larger-sized iPad tablet in Professional way in late September. This new comes from a reliable Taiwanese blog DigiTimes. Reportedly, Apple remains catious about placing order for the 12.9″ iPad Pro from suppliers due to declining iPad sales and weakening demand in the overall tablet market.
However, DigiTimes has missed the track record reporting on Apple’s upcoming product lineup, so just take this information with a pinch of salt. Nevertheless, the rumor is consistent with previous reports that widely expect the “iPad Pro” to launch in the second half of the year as off after iPhone 6s and 6s Plus launch in Septembver as Apple’s next iPhone segment. And the Mac maker although has historically announced new iPad models in October, which lines up with another launch around mid-November.
Reports that claims the China-based white-box tablet makers are preparing to capitalize on the “iPad Pro” launch and seasonal shop[ping trends by releasing tablets in the 10-inch to 15-inch throughout the 2nd-half of 2015. The tablet makers, Foxconn are said to be sourcing components from Taiwan-based touch controller IC makers including ITE Tech, Silicon Integrated Systems (SIS) and ILi Technology (ILitek).
