Indeed, it can’t be denied anymore that Xiaomi – the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has long rumored to be working on a wearable for your wrist. Although it has two iterations made of the Mi band and according to the new speculation it is admitted that the same company is also coming with an all-new Smartwatch, as soon as this week.
Speaking about the Xiaomi Smartwatch – the company is hosting an event on November 24 in China, where it will be introducing the world with its next-generation smartphones and tablet series, aka the Redmi Note 2 Pro and Mi Pad 2. Now that it turns out it could be holding another product which is set as a third one on show and it might be the already believed smart-wearable.
In November last year, Xiaomi’s global VP Hugo Barra hinted at a possibility that the company may launch a smartwatch soon. Details on that are non-existent, though. But at the scheduled launch event this week, we can certainly expect the Redmi Note 2 Pro with a metallic body and a fingerprint scanner placed at its back portion. As per the words clarifies that the device is likely to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core 64-bit chipset, and 2GB or 3GB of RAM. Coming with a 16GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie shooter, 3060mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.
About the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 – is expected to sport a 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixels) display, 2.24GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8500 quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, and run on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7.
