Alleged Report Hints Microsoft Lumia 940 and 940 XL To Pack USB Type-C Connectors

It was days ago when rumored that both the Lumia 840 and 840 XL spotted as a replacer for Lumia 830 and that was since the last Lumia flagships, but today rumors nevertheless hints at what’s to be upcoming. Information which can’t be denyied, because it comes from soutrces close to Microsoft who suggest that the Lumia 940 will apparently have a 830-esque design. Lumia 940 XL phones are based on an aluminum frame, while the back is polycorbonate. Details regarding the purported Lumia 940 and XL versions can be grabbed right after this fold.

Specifications wise, the Lumia 940 is said to flaunt a 5.2-inch QHD (2k resolution) screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels display, and about the Lumia 940 XL, Microsoft is bringing a bigger 5.7-inch qHD display and for its it is backed by a 3300mAh and the smaller Lumia 940 will be packed a 3000mAh unit.

Both the Lumia 940, 940 XL sports a 20MP PureView camera, plus adds 5MP selfie-focused front-facing camera. Two of which will be coupled with a 3GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage and the chipset however will be a bit different. The 5.2″ Lumia 940 to be powered by a Hexa-Core processor, most likely runs Snapdragon 808 like LG G4, and the bigger 5.7″ Lumia 940 XL variant will be an Octa-Core gadget, packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Chipset.
