Apple’s iPhone 8 To Only Feature Larger 2700mAh Battery

Although new iPhone 2017 rumored to come with a larger battery while retaining sleek dimensions of the current iPhone 7 series. Now, another claim suggests that the latest to be only coming with a minimal battery package. Here are the details.

Newly leaked information points at this year’s iPhone 8 battery capacity, as Apple also rumored to launch three new iPhone variants this year, the 5.8-inch to get glass chassis, 4.7-inch to keep aluminum case steady. If all goes according to plan, iPhones in 2017 will include the 5.5-inch model as well. In all the three versions, the 5.8-inch model expected to be new high-end product which will include a chassis made of reinforced glass with a stainless steel metal frame.

Dubbed as the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and the iPhone 8. The former two are expected to feature an LCD display like its predecessors, while the rumored iPhone 8 with an OLED screen. Latest rumors purely focused on the leaks which suggests Apple’s OLED iPhone model will come with a larger 2,700 mAh battery, which is the iPhone 8, if everything go accurate.

The 4.7-inch device will continue to use an aluminum-alloy chassis, as per the sources from the upstream supply chain. This change in chassis and the expected inclusion of an AMOLED display will be part of the equation for an anticipated retail price excess of $1000. Since the design changes which are speculated to go into the device will necessitate changes to internal components which will in turn require a higher price in order for Apple to maintain its margins.

Followed by the leaks regarding the fact that the iPhone will finally have a bigger battery. Also, iPhone 8 will reportedly retain the measurements similar to the now available iPhone 7. While the currently available iPhone model is fueled by a 1,960mAh battery, which in case the iPhone 8 will have about 38% more capacity when compared to of the iPhone 7.

This leaked image comes from Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, shared it on the web, describing how Apple is able to achieve the increased capacity in the iPhone 8 in such a small chassis size, that too, through the use of a stacked “substrate-like”  PCB mainboard, that made the board smaller overall, so there’s more space for the battery inside the phone.

However, the present wireless charging standard allows one of merely place the device on the compatible charging Pad and it can draw power without plugging in the cord, wirelessly. Wait! In this case, the charging pad needs to be connected to the wall.

Along with wireless charging capabilities, the Apple’s iPhone 8 will come in two different screen-sizes, 5.2-and-5.8-inches OLED display, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Although Casetek, a metal chassis subsidiary of Pegatron Technology, has been aggressively sending engineering samples to Apple and establishing new production bases to prepare for Apple’s orders, the company has so far still not obtained significant orders for the next-generation iPhones.

Work for Apple in 2017 is becoming hard, as the Catcher company is not willing to confirm that it is going to be doing some and was willing to point out that its revenues during the current year will see a significant year-on-year growth.
