For those who find the better way ahead of the pack, and already running the latest Windows 10 Creators Update, gets another release, which Microsoft has now pushed out a cumulative update available only to those who are been through the update ongoing process.
What is it? Cumulative update KB4015583, with build number 15063.138, introduces a number of quality improvements in an attempt to enhance the Creators Update experience, but should note that it actually doesn’t introduce any outward-facing features. With no great surprise the new release from the software giant has introduced this cumulative update for the very recently released Creators Update.
Microsoft is one kind of company that often introduce almost immediate updates after a large release is sent public, likewise, usually designed and offered to fix a number of the early bugs and issues found by users and those early adopters.
This newly released cumulative update on April 11 is exactly that, which looks to patch a number of issues as well as offer security improvements across the board. The official change log provided by Microsoft with this update release notes:
Addressed issues with updated time zone information.
Security updates to Scripting Engine, libjpeg image-processing library, Hyper-V, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Adobe Type Manager Font Driver, Internet Explorer, Graphics Component, Active Directory Federation Services, .NET Framework, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, Microsoft Edge and Windows OLE.
Also, Microsoft used the update information to outline that it isn’t currently aware of any bugs or issues with this introduction, though that would otherwise adversely affect those installing it. To those who are running the Windows 10 Creators Update, this cumulative update is available for download and install right now through the usual Windows Update option in the Settings app, and should weigh in at around 51 MB for the X86 version, or 114 MB for the x64 version.
Microsoft has already made available to download Windows 10 Creators Update using Windows Update Assistant today, which it offers a number of new features, including the intro of a new Paint 3D app, making it extremely easy for users to create, share, edit, and even view 3D models with relative ease. There’s still a ton of new improvements from a video-gaming perspective, introduced Game Mode, as well as enhancements from a security and networking side which will directly and instantly appeal to enterprise users. Stay tuned for more!
