First Android Powered BlackBerry Phone ‘Prague’ May Be Releasing In August; Rumors

If the oft-mentioned title becomes true then the BlackBerry’s Android phone could be featuring these specifications, and codenamed ‘Prague‘. Rumor mills are filled with predictions and speculations, but sometimes becomes accurate as well, like this new report surfaced from N4BB, who has just found the device’s leaked specs. And a new report now suggesting that the Venice (expected as Android phone from BlackBerry) might not run Android at all. What is the name of the Android powered smartphone from BlackBerry would be called? For that you have to read the full buzz below.

Beigin with the actually gossip on BlackBerry is apparently getting ready to release smartphones that don’t run its own BlackBerry 10 OS, instead run Android, which was allegedly codenamed Venice, which is a slider phone as though, and said to go official in November. Bringing the high-end specs like 5.4-inch curved QHD screen and packing a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor. And that wasn’t be BlackBerry’s first Android product, but today another news surfaced suggesting that it might not run the Google’s mobile OS at all, and yet BlackBerry is planning to introduce an Android smartphone as soon as August. What is it?

Possibly codenamed “BlackBerry Prague”. Expected to be released within two more months and it won’t have high-end features to say some. Reportedly, it’s going to be a lower-end smartphone form-factor of the BlackBerry Z3. Aimed at emerging markets, it will be a low-end, all-touch device, as per the report notes.

If we believe rumors then we can also expect two different Android smartphones from BlackBerry this year, one called Venice with top-end specs set for November and the other Prague with low-end key features alleged to launch in August. For now, so we can’t be sure of anything.

None of this has been officially confirmed by the company, so take it with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned!

Note: The image above placed is a fake one, added Android M wallpaper onto the BlaxkBerry Z3. Don’t mind.
