It’s common in this current Internet Web and like Flipkart facing a controversy, which has being accused of creating fake discounts on its e-commerce website to mistatting customers. Continues to lash out on social media against these unfair proctices though, but the company says that it only relies on sellers to provide accurate information on MRP. Strikes back, Flipkart further said that its not going to tolerate such wrond infor and won’t go beyond its zero tolerance policy. In return suspended those sellers who offered fake discounts. Flipkart team said in an interview that it is a marketplace where it helps sellers connect with customers across the country, and with the latest controversy in mind, also said had investigated it and after receiving full report on the incident, we have suspended the sellers. Adopts zeo tolarance poilicy against any instances where the seller has sold a product above the MRP stated on the label. If found again in violation of our policy, sellers will be suspended and at the same time will be blacklisted as well.
Apologies goes by the company that said it should not be blamed for such “Fake Discounts” as it purely relies on sellers who are trusted to provide corect information. Flipkart spokesmen also said that “Flipkart takes utmost care in ensuring that product information on the marketplace is not misleading and for this, we rely on our sellers to share correct information with us.”
For that Flipkart has already began scanning its vortex of products to sort out the “Fake discounts” adversity, whichg it is recommended to check the real Maximum Retail Price (MRP) before alloting a discount offer on online sites.
