This time talking about the upcoming Samsung‘s E series of smartphone apart from A series. The South Korean giant is pretty much working hard in a new line of devices – apparently to launch the Galaxy E series in the forthcoming. Tow handsets dubbed as the Galaxy E5 (SM-500) and the Galaxy E7 (SM-E700).
So far we got only a few inclusions that are rumored for both the devices. Now it comes with a full set of specs. According to the report, the Galaxy E7 packs a 5.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 13-megapixel rear and a 5MP front-facing cameras, paired with 2GB of RAM and flaunts 16GB of ROM and powers with a 2950mAh battery.
Running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, the Galaxy SM-E700 is clocked at 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and its an Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone out of the box. Its dimensions will be 151 x 77 x 7.2 mm.
The Galaxy E5 goes with a 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, an 8 MP camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 2,300 mAh battery. Powered by the same Snapdragon 410 chipset, though its going to be even thinner than its bigger sibling at 6.9mm, and will weigh 140g. Like E7, the Galaxy SM-E500 will also runs Android 5.0 Lollipop on board.
Both the E5 and E7 will reportedly uses an non-removable batteries, however it’s unclear whether that means they’ll have a metal body like the members of A series. E line although said to be getting a metal design though, then it’s really unknown what would be the differencing factors between these and the Galaxy A handsets.
