Google Chromecast Now Reportedly Gets A New Guest Mode In India

Google for its one of the most popular HDMI media streaming device, Chromecast reportedly adding a new guest mode which will allow users to share their Chromecast without giving the password to a WiFi network. Now, it will be very easy for your loving ones to cast to your TV without first having to connect to your Wireless network. Guest mode on Chromecast feature allow anyone with an Android phone cast to your Television as long as they’re in the same room.

Users will first of all need to set up guest mode of your Chromecast, and for that you have to open the Chromecast app on your Android device or tablet and select “Devices” from the navigation drawer. Choose your Chromecast device, tap the ‘Guest mode’ setting and then turn the slider to “on”.

Notably, users will need to add a 4 digit PIN to activate the guest mode. Currently, the Guest Mode Google is only available for Android handsets running 4.3 Jelly Bean. Chromecast was actually launched in India earlier this month for Rs. 2,999, available exclusively via Snapdeal.
