The HTC’s new handset in its Desire series introduced at CES got official at the begenning of the year 2015, and now it looks like almost ready to be up for grabs in India. Since it’s been retailing in China. More details on the jump on when its debut after this break.
The news comes straight from a Mumbai-based phone retailer, suggests that the Desire 826 will hit the store shelves in India in the next 2-3 days. Goes on sale at $421 or €387, which is at the current exchange rates costs INR 26,200 respectively in India.

Display on the smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080px) resolution screen. Is powered by an 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU.
Software it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI skin on top. Camera department on the phone flaunts a 13MP rear with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor, 28mm lens, 1080p video recording and an UltraPixel front-facing cam sensor with f.2.2 aperture, wide angle lens. Connectivity option includes a dual-SIM support with 4G LTE Cat.4, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, GPS on both the SIM cards, paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB memory extra.
It packs a 2600mAh battery and measures 7.74mm thick and weighs 155 grams. Available in White Birch, Blue Lagoon and Purple Fire colors with dual-tone finish.
The HTC Desire 826 is priced at Rs 26,200 (as per retailer), and will be launching officially earlier next week.
