HTC Plans To Introduce More Entry-Level 4G Smartphones In 2015 [Report]

Reports suggesting that HTC will be producing more budget 4G smartphones in the North Asia region during the first quarter of 2015. Exclusively, HTC will be selling these entry-level models over the internet, along with specifically designed variants, as the president of HTC North Asia said.

According to the report from DigiTimes, its expecting to ship the amount of its products next year compared to this year sales. Its also said that the Taiwanese giant would introduce single-SIM handsets of HTC Desire 820 in its homeland, Taiwan.

Internet sales now account for a double-digit percentage of HTC’s total smartphone sales in 2015. Plans would be similar as the one employed by Xiaomi to help the latter ring up a ton of sales, using the same online sales technique, and by offering low priced handsets via internet, HTC believes that it can balance the distribution of its top-end handsets through the usual channels, including carrier sales.

Remind you that HTC has already made Desire 620G Dual SIM available for purchase in India with an Octa-Core CPU, and still we, living in India haven’t seen any low-priced smartphone from HTC with 4G LTE in India.

As promised, Asus recently launched Pegasus X002 budget handset and chances are many for HTC to use the same chipset on their next budget LTE phones in 2015. HTC Hima, the sequel to the HTC One (M8) is reportedly code-named coming with all its glory. Hoping to see some mid-range 4G smartphones from HTC at MWC 2015 in March. Stay tuned to the official announcement….!
