Back in November 2015 Huawei announced its flagship smartphone Mate 8 at an event in China. Today it has been announced for international markets, while taking the stage at CES 2016, Huawei made this global availability announcement of its 2015’s Huawei Mate 8.
Smartphone that comes with a 6-inch fullHD display with a resolution of 1080p screen has 2.7mm ultra narrow frame, garnered with 83% sreen-to-body ratio and fixed with 2.5D glass. Under the hood the Mate 8 is powered by an Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 950 chipset (2.3GHz 4 x ARM Cortex A72 + 1.8GHz 4 x ARM Cortex A53) with IntelliSense i5 sensor hub and graphics go by Mali T880 GPU. The handset runs on Android Marshmallow with Emotion UI 4.0 skin on top.
Photography department you’ll find on Mate 8 is of 16-Megapixel rear camera equipped with Sony IMX298 sensor, dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and perfectly uses Huawei’s ISP tech. Secondary cam on its front carries 8MP selfie-focused and the body of the smartphone is purely made of aerospace-grade aluminum and has an unique 2.5D curved diomand cut glass effect. Fingerprint sensor is also prsent on it as it is a circular on on its back for better identification and the memory you will get of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space with expandable microSD card support.
It is the smartphone called Mate 8 has Hybrid Dual SIM card slot which can also be used to insert another SD card for more space. It supports 4G LTE bands with voLTE connectivity options by offering WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC on the other end and is backed by a massive 4000mAh battery package.
Comes in Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver, Space Gray, and Macho Brown colors and when speaking about the Price. For 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, it costs 599 Euros (around US$643 / INR 42770) and to get a 64GB with 4GB RAM variant, you will need to spend almost 699 Euros (US$ 750 and Rs. 49900 approx.).
The Hauwei Mate 8 will be available intially in 30 countries including the regions of Spain, Germany, France, United Arab Emirates, Mexico and Australia. India and other Asian markets will follow very soon.
