Huawei SnapTo Will Officially Be Released On April 17

It’s official now! As the Chinese manufacturer has announced that the Huawei SnapTo spotted at Amazon was accurate and coming in few days. More details on the hardware can be checked after this jump!

Remind you that if you look at SnapTo phone, it pretty much pretends to be a big competitor to Motorola’s Moto G, both in terms of pricing and when concerning its key features.

The Huawei SnapTo specs goes with a 5-inch HD (720p) touchscreen, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 2.3 out of the box. Camera wise it sports a 5MP rear sensor with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing shooter and comes with an 8GB of internal storage, further expandable via microSD card.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz quad-core Cotrtex-A7 CPU and graphics coupled with Adreno 305 GPU. With 4G LTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS options, and it’s backed by a 2200mAh battery.

You can now pre-order Huawei SnapTo from Amazon. Priced at $179.99 and is available in black and white color schemes. Release date is April 17 for the black version, and the white SnapTo smartphone is only expected to be in stock on May 15. Starting next week, the SnapTo will also go on sale for grabs at a fw more retailers, including BestBuy, NewEgg, Fry’s, as well as Huawei’s official online store for the US.
