It looks like all the domestic smartphone vendors in India are focusing on the phone’s battery power, as of today, Intex has launched an upgraded version and the successor to the Aqua Power in India, Aqua Power+. More details on the new Intex Aqua Power+ (Plus) can be grabbed after this fold.
In order to compete with the new Lenovo A5000, Lava Iris Fuel 60, and Xolo Q3000, Intex Aqua Power+ will be a big rival in battery package and other specifications. While the dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and becomes the second smartphone to boot the latest version of Android L mobile OS, first was the Aqua Star L – launched back in February 2015.
The Aqua Power+ sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. With 2GB of RAM, the smartphone boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, apart from a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Storage wise it comes with a 16GB of built-in memory that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0, and USB OTG, alongside some pre-loaded apps on the Aqua Power+ include Ask Me, Intex Play, Intex zone, OLX, News hunt, Clean master, and Truecaller.
The new Intex Aqua Power+ will be available exclusively via Reliance Retail Stores across India. Priced at Rs 8,999 offline. Available in Black with Champagne, White with Champagne, Champagne and Black with Silver colors, and offers a free smart flip cover.
