Intex Aqua Speed HD With 4.7-inch HD Display, 2GB RAM, 5MP Selfie Camera Launched For Rs 8999

Intel Technologies has launched Aqua Speed HD, the company’s latest smartphone in budget Aqua series and the successor to Aqua Speed exclusively made available through eBay at INR 7,444 last month. Today, the same domestic smartphone vendor has introduced us with another refreshed variant of the handset. More details on Intex Aqua Speed HD can be catched after this break.

The Intex Aqua Speed HD is priced at Rs 8,999, and the specifications on the new one goes with a 4.7-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display along with Dragontail glass protections. Under the hood is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone has a Dual SIM support, 3G connectivty offering Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS. It has a 8-megapixel Auto-Focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Storage wise it includes a 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot (up to 32GB expansion), and it packs a 1700mAh battery.

On the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box and interestingly it comes preloaded with women safety app called Sashakt and OneDrive as the cloud storage option. Essentially also pre-installed with  features like Smart Awake, Hot Knot, New UI Icons, Customized notification bar and Air Shuffle function.

Intex will also be offering 50GB free OneDrive cloud space for two years. Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head, mobiles for Intex Technologies said, “The Aqua Speed HD is another effort of ours towards, inventing and improvising our offerings. We believe in providing our customers with products that satisfy their needs and are easy on their pocket. This new product comes across as a package of smart designing, tactical pricing and youthful colors all packaged for our target consumer.”

The Intex Aqua Speed HD will be available in White, Silver and Sea Blue colors and could compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Lenovo A6000 and the newly launched InFocus M330 et al,
