It was couple of months following the launches of both the iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 El Capitan, but according to this log, Apple has shifted a large portion of its software engineering resources to development of the upcoming iOS 10 and OS X 10.12. Next-generation softwares for both the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac machines. While the two, iOS 9.2 and OS X 10.11.2 remain under development, but the 2016’s mobile and desktop operating systems are now moving forward at full speed, as sources indicate.
Said that Apple is already startedtesting its next-gen iOS 10 mobile and desktop operating systems, code named “Fuji”. New report that surfaced in site metrics for 9to5Mac, noticed the OSes appearing in Google Analystics.
As per 9to5Mac, first started to see activity related to iOS 10 and OS X 10.12 begenning as early as this September, right when boththe El Capitan and iOS 9 launched for public. In the last two months, the number of sessions appears to have nearly quadrupled, suggesting there are a larger number of people testing the new operating systems, which likely won’t launch until next September 2016.
Sources indicate that the internal codename of the new Mac operating system is “Fuji,” which follows last year’s “Gala” release. Apple will probably unveil the new operating systems a few months earlier, may be showcase at next year’s WWDC kicks off in June.
