Latest packaging of the iPhone 7 Plus allegedly suggests option of bundled wireless listening technology, ‘AirPods‘, as Apple finally makes a decision to get rid of the iconic 3.5mm headphone socket in the iPhone 7. Apple is all set to make its iPhone announcement on September 7th official. Just before that happen, a new leaks reveal the pricing details, reaffirm the Space Black color option, and nevertheless, hints at the introduction of AirPods.
New leak however gives us hope that Apple is planning to replace the headphone jack place with the wireless AirPods for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Likely continue to see reports apparently confirming and denying the existence of pack-in AirPods wireless buds until iPhone 7 is official next week. For now, the rumor seems to suggest they’re real.
The source citing claims have received an image from an anonymous site which appears to show the packaging of the 32GB iPhone 7 Plus model. It looks similar to the previous leaks, but there’s one notable difference. The list of included content in the package includes “AirPods Wireless Earphones”.
It was already assumed that the leaks before this showed “EarPods with Lightning Connector,” and still got two possible reasons for this. Either it could be a Fake one or there are multiple earphone options when buying an iPhone 7. At this point, it’s hard to imagine the idea of Apple releasing multiple bundles with separate earphones sounds far-fetched, but considerably how vocal the backlash over the elimination of the headphone spot has been. Reason why? Might be one reasonable way to appease iPhone owners who really do not want earphones that plug directly into the Lightning port.
This claim has gotten hold on the iPhone 7 pricing details. As the 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants of the iPhone 7 Plus as well. In China, iPhone 7 will set you back at CNY 5,288 (almost Rs. 53,100), CNY 6,088 for the 128GB iPhone 7 (Rs. 61,200 approx.) and for the 256GB iPhone 7 you will need to pay CNY 7,088 (roughly around Rs. 71,300). Expected price for the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus; carries a price-tag of CNY 6,088 for the 32GB variant (Rs. 61,200), CNY 6,888 (Rs. 69,200) for the 128GB 7 Plus and for the iPhone 7 Plus with 256GB storage, costs around CNY 7,888 (around Rs. 79,300).
Note: The Indian pricing given above are just based on actual conversion rates and not the exact pricing.
The Space Black color is also appeared to show among the other options. The leak already indicates that Apple isn’t getting rid of the Space Grey, but also adding Space Black as another option, could be a “Gloss Black“.
Coming back to the AirPods for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. On a device registration site in Europe, it has been spotted. No clear notes on what these AirPods are actually are, but the name suggests that these are the wireless EarPods. The listing also consists of other Apple device that seem to tip the release date of the new Apple Watch 2.
